About This

• 30PPI Reticulated foam, open-pore, flexible, ether-type of polyurethane foam. Characterized by a skeletal structure of strands which provide a constant 97 percent void space and a very high degree of permeability
• Reticulated polyurethane foam is a very porous, open-cell, low-density polyurethane foam. This foam type undergoes a thermal reticulation process that removes the window cell membranes. This post process strengthens and reinforces the foam walls and minimizes the possibility of open channels. The end result is a net-like structured foam that provides exceptional filtration properties and highly suitable for sealing applications because it prohibits air flow.
• PPI (pores per inch) indicates the number of cells in the foam per inch. The standard range is 10-80 PPI. PPI 10 has large cells and is completely open, while PPI 30 has medium cells, this is less see through, for most air filter applications, a PPI (pores per inch) range of 20-30 is considered a good balance between capturing dust particles and maintaining adequate airflow; with higher PPIs offering better filtration but potentially restricting airflow more significantly
